Default PvP--Ranking Player Skill

I think that there needs to be a place where we veterans can go to get some good pvp action. In the random arenas and team arenas, we may play what we call as new players (noobs). This isnt bad but some of us just want to have some good competition.

Discription

So what we could do is have a arena called The Ranked Arenas. You may choose a style to play before entering a battle. 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4.

Then you wait till you have an opponent. You play in the normal arenas. But winning gives you seperate points.

So say i was playing in a 3v3 battle, i would get points for winning and the points would only go into the 3v3 points pool. So what im saying is each mode (1v1,2v2,3v3 etc) has there own points. The more points you get the higher ranks you go up. Such as Intiates Leauge, Recruiters Leauge, Normal leauge, Super leauge, Gladiators League, Champions Leauge and then Hero's leauge.

So say i was in the normal leauge. I would only play players which are in the normal leauge. So people in the heros leauge are elite players and deserve to play at the top of tournament play.

Points system could be like this:

Winner: 5 points
Loser: 1 point
Consecutive wins: 1 point extra
Flawless Victory: 1 point extra

Intiate->Recruit=100 points
recruit->normal=500 points
normal->super=800 points
super->Gladiators=1000 points
Gladiators->Super=1500 points
Super->Heros=2000 points

So this is what it could look like

1v1: Super Rank--957 points
2v2: Recruit Rank--387 points
3v3: Gladiators Rank--1198 points
4v4: Heros Rank--3894 points

This player has played more 4v4 battles and therefore has more points. This Whole idea for this is so we have goals to reach. Anet Could also give a title that you can list once you get past normal rank.

Ok so post what you think

Hero Battles. Its ranked and if u dont find it competitive, if it wasnt wed all be #1

I wouldn't mind some other form of PvP though. Maybe a really massive 12 v 12.

So that's kinda like Glad points, except that it's even easier to get? RA isn't meant to be competitive...

I understand you want more competition, but I didn't understand the concept you're trying to get across. So like, you have to do 1vs1 when you first start out in this arena, until you get some points and rank up? Then after that you can do 2vs2, 3vs3, etc.? If so, I don't like that, plus I think 1vs1 is pretty dumb to be honest. And what is the advantage from doing 4vs4 compare to 1vs1? Since it's the same point system and 4vs4 will take longer to win, well, maybe not because people can tank in 1vs1 -_-.

I dont see how its not straight forward. Before you enter battle you choose a team then click either the 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 or 4v4 button (if you are the leader). You enter and play. If you win you earn points towards that style of play. So say i was doing 3v3 the points would go into the 3v3 points pool.

And also what if people dont want to use there heros. This is a way for individual players to get ranked not in hero battles.

So, you want arenas for 1vs1, 2vs2, 3vs3, and a separate 4vs4? What's the point, and how does this show "more" player skill? How would you not allow "noobs" to enter?

You spelt league wrong around 5 times, anyway the points are far to easy to get and none of the elite players would bother with it because they have HA and GvG and HvH. This is ultimately pointless.

Well, HvH isn't like RA or TA, but still similar. It's more like AB with heroes and limited to 1 team instead of 3 teams of 4. This isn't what I first expected from hero battles. I'd rather we just cut to the chase and duke it out to the death. Keep it simple. Or even better, have an arena that's a straight free for all. 8 enter, 1 leaves. Now that's knuckle crunching action!

If PvP is going to evolve, let it step away from the flag stands and item running, and get down to the nitty gritty fighting we all want but are too afraid to ask for.
